Brainstorming to ease the shortage of face masks
On February 10, in response to the shortage of masks across the country, all employees ofDouble Medical Group immediately acted, brainstormed, and innovatively output a set of safe, simple, and quick solutions for self-made reusable masks. In order to further help alleviate the shortage offace masks, the group joined hands with its subsidiarySurgaid Medical to shoot short tutorial videos ofproducingreusable masks,andpromoted thetutorial videos to the public through platforms such as Xiamen Federation of Industry and Commerce, Southeast Networks and Toutiao. We alsoprovided 8195piecesof melt-blown fabric of the core material of masks (more than 270,000 masks can be made) free of charge, which helps to a certain extent solve the concerns of residents who are "difficult to find a cover" such as travel and rework.

Stand up and work together to fight the epidemic
On January 20, Zhangzhou Third Hospital immediately deployed the prevention and control of theCovid-19 epidemic quickly established three special isolation areas, and organized nearly a hundred medical staff to participate in the medical diagnosis and treatment ofCovid-19. As aspecific hospital forCovid-19, Zhangzhou Third Hospital carried out treatment in strict accordance with the requirements of the nationalCovid-19 diagnosis and treatment plan. On January 26, patients diagnosed withCovid-19 were successfully transferred to the Chaoyang Branch of Zhangzhou Hospital for centralized treatment, Februarythe patient recovered and was discharged on the 18th. After the patient was discharged from the hospital, the hospital up and re-examined the patient for 28 days according to the prevention and control requirements, until the medical isolation was released.
Until the end of May, the hospital had received a total of 3641 fever patients, 3 direct online diagnosis, 114 patients admitted to the observation ward, 772 nucleic acid tests, and more than 10,000 patients’ chest CT examinations, resumption physical examinations and screeningcheck work. During this period, nocovid-19 diagnosedpatients died, no medical staff were infected, and no patients in hospital were infected.
20 medical staffs join the front line of the emergency response team
In February, 20 members of the Zhangzhou Third Hospital's aid to Hubei medical team resolutely embarked on a "retrograde" journey and rushed to Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital to support the fight against the epidemic until all members returned to Fujian safely in early April. During the period, there were 134 patients in the Jinyintan Hospital where they were located, of which 36 were critically ill (the highest age was 94, the average age was 79.5), 96 were cured and discharged, and 8 were transferred toanother hospital. They achieved "zero deaths of hospitalized patients and zero infections of medical staff." Good results of zero accidents in production safety, zero complaints from stationed personnel, and zero recurrence of cured patients.
In this battlewith virus they lived up to their trust, insisted on their beliefs, charged day and night, went all out to save people, bravely "closely hand-to-hand" with the epidemic, fought side by side with the peoplein Wuhan, andshow the loveand responsibilityof doctors with their actions, responsibility and mission. It is precisely because of this spirit of being a pioneer in fighting the epidemic that Zhangzhou City Federation of Trade Unions awarded them the honorary title of "Workers Pioneer" in Zhangzhou.
According to incomplete statistics, the cumulative expenditure of the Third Zhangzhou Hospital under the Double Medical Group is nearly 3.1 million yuan for the prevention and control of the epidemic, including:

Over 8 million rmb medical supplies donation for medical staffs and patients
After the outbreak,Surgaid Medical, a subsidiary ofDouble Medical Group, raced against the epidemic to accelerate the completion of product registration and production for first-line needs for epidemic prevention.
