AAN Ankle Arthrodesis Nail

Indications:

• Severe foot and ankle deformity
• Arthritis
• Instability and skeletal defects, including but not limited to after tumor resection and neuro-osteoarthropathy (Charcot's foot)
• Avascular necrosis of the talus
• Failed joint replacement or failed ankle fusion
• Distal tibial fracture and non-unions
• Osteoarthritis
• Rheumatoid arthritis and pseudoarthrosis

Contraindication:

• Active infection
• Peripheral vascular neuropathy
• Young patients

Screws:

• 5.0mm Locking Screw
• 6.0mm Locking Screw
• End Cap

Ankle Arthrodesis Nail:

• Provide different diameters and lengths for more clinical choices.
• Different colours are easy to distinguish

Compression Nut in Distal Sliding Hole:

• Distal sliding hole allows maximal 5mm compression distance.

Static and Dynamic Locking Holes:

• Provide Static and Dynamic Locking Holes in the proximal.

Distal Multi-planer Screws Crossing Locking Holes:

• Cross-joint fixation to enhance the stability of the fusion.
• The screw inserted obliquely into calcaneal anterior process or calcaneocuboid joint to enhance pullout strength and stability.

Carbon Fiver Aiming Shaft:

• One piece of Aiming shaft which is made of carbon fiber material ensures locking accuracy.
• Simplify operation process and shorten operation time.

Locking screws:

• Self-tapping groove design, for easier insertion.
• Torxdrive recess of screw head design to reduce screw loose.
• Proximal dynamic and static holes mach with 5.0mm locking screw.
• Three distal crossing holes match with 6.0mm locking screw.

End Cap:

• Prevent soft tissue from growing in.
