Adolescent femoral nail system

Indication:

• Femoral fractures of teenager or small adults
• Femoral shaft fractures
• Subtrochanteric fractures
• Ipsilateral femoral neck/shaft fractures
• Impending pathological fracture
• Nonunions and malunions

Features:

• Smaller diameter of the nail: more suitable for adolescent femoral medullary canal
• Entry point: At lateral of the greater trochanter, a far end point with distance of 20mm from lesser trochanter and 12° lateral to the axis of the medullary canal.
• Oblique cutting in proximal end prevent irritation to soft tissue.
• Lateral flat cut design lower pressure on the lateral cortex.
• Recon locking and standard locking, the two locking option for different fractures.
